A question: I have one Barbado that refuses to stay with the herd.   I had "rescued" her at a livestock auction last spring when she was so skinny you could see her ribs. About three months later she aborted. Understandable. Of course my rams didn't let that phase them and bred her. She aborted last month one not completely formed lamb. I don't think she was ready to breed after the first abortion.   She's in much better health now, filled out well, and can she run! But she stays away from the herd. I am guessing that she does not want to breed until she desires, so she stays along the drive near the front gate which is 1/4 mile from the house (and safety at night) and graises the wild grasses alongside the drive and edge of the thicket, which she bounds into when a car qpproaches.   I'm just keeping an eye on her whereabouts. Is there anything else I should be aware of or do?   I have LGDs who keep the coyotes at bay.   Sharon, Holland, TX
