My Barbado are wild, yet people who come to see them tell me they are the tamest they've seen. Maybe it'sjust a courtesy, but I sure appreciate the compliment.
The grain I feed is a mix special ordered without copper from a mill in Cameron, TX about 45 min from my farm. Cost is closer to $4 per 50lb bag. That and gas expense is cheaper than the feed stores. Some hooves need trimming, others don't.
