I've been feeding 2nd cut alfalfa hay with a little bit of whole oats. They can't digest the whole grains very well without the hay, so in summer we do a sweet cob mix, but just to tame them and help them associate us with good stuff.
I have a mix of wild and tame animals. The tame ones were obviously handled as lambs. I have one bottle fed ewe that we just let out to graze the lawn, then put her back when she finds her way to the roses. I've been lucky with hoof trimming. Just one needed so far, the rest seem to wear down naturally. But you do have to watch it. We also vaccinate, there's an 8-way that covers most everything, but I don't have the name off-hand. If you're new to raising sheep, buy a good veterinary book specifically for sheep. www.amazon.com has at least one very good one called "The veterinary book for sheep farmers".
