Sue, something I feel as though we all should remember is that even though there is no such animal as a horned Barbados Blackbelly, both horned and polled animals are magnificent animals in there own way.Without one we probably would not have the other here in the states.Although purely polled stock would be wonderful to have, some areas of the country there is not as much demand as there is for horned animals.I would not trade my horned stock for anything, however one day I do hope to raise polled stock as well.If you are one of the fortunate people to be raising polled stock, I would like to encourage you to do your best at keeping the polled blood line going.There are not allot of quality polled stock in the states and it would be a shame to see them die out.
