Thanks for the opinion James. I do appreciate it. This fella also got a 6
month old bottle lamb from us at that same time. He only had $20 extra in
cash on him and he was interested in her also. We let him have her so
therefore, he got a deal there. He feels he should be reimbursed and I will
do that but not half, which is what he thinks he should get. Another lesson
learned. The ewes he took had all been " exposed " and all but 2 lambed.
That's the 1st time since we have had these sheep that not all of them
lambed. We did well this year though - 29 lambs from 17 ewes this spring and
18 out of 13 ewes this fall. We feel we had a pretty good year!!!! We are
going to try a different place to sell them this spring so will see how that
goes. Again thank you for your opinion. I don't like to take advantage of
people but I also don't like being taken advantage of either!!!
