Like Bobbie said, leave the ram in with them. He won't bother the moms during the birthing process.
Sometimes the other ewes are more problem as they are curious about the new one if they don't already ahve some of their own!!!! Never know about the quantity - have had 1st time Moms drop twins and 2 year old ewes have singles. Just never know how potent the ram was. Sue
