Hi, I have used Bucks Co. for te last few years with no problem...They probably have
been sized up to the ragged edges, but never had the hair trimmed in any way.
Unless they have had a change in their methods, I can't understand why they screwed
Ed & Lindas hides so bad.
Like I said, they probably did trim up the edges of the hides I've sent in, have 1 in
now, & imagine they'll doso on it also..but if they trim the mane hair they'll be
hearing from me!
Loud & clear! I still like the job they have done in the past, the washableness of
them, & the price was less than any other place. I used a place in Portland that sent
the hides to San Fransciso & they were awful! They totally ruined 1 hide,& charged me
80 for a ruined hide...cats think its fine to sleep on..other 4 were so so at best.
Only 1 looked descent.
If it was me, with the problems Barne's had, I would send along a letter
specifically stating no hair trimming. I will be doing that when the next 2 are ready
to go...

I'm looking at one of my mature ram hides that has a 12-in. mane on it. And
I'm also looking at one of my ram lamb's hides--6-in. mane. Big difference
that I can see. I've always been very satisfied with Bucks County.
