Hello,

I have a ewe, Freckles, who lambed on December 7th.
She seems to have gone into heat yesterday as our ram,
Clyde, is spending lots of time with her. One thing
I'm worried about is that her lambs are crying a lot
and looking for her. It looks like Clyde is keeping
her in the corners of the yard. She stands between
him and the fence with her head hung down. I saw him
breed her yesterday. Is this normal behavior for
weaning and rebreeding after lambing? Is she hiding
from her lambs to wean them? I walked up to her this
morning and petted her a bit and she walked away with
Clyde next to her, but went back to the corner when I
went away. Should I be worried?

Thanks,
Marion
