Can someone explain how you develop a breed standard for what appear to have been randomly cross-bred animals? As I understand the so-called "Barbado" resulted from crossing BB with Rambouillet and/or Mouflon. But I also understand that BB have been crossed with St. Croix and probably many other breeds. It appears the term Barbado is a catch-all category (kinda like Heinz 57) and whoever incorrectly deemed it a "breed" did us all a great injustice.

Diana is on the right track - if the only difference is presence/absence of horns, it is one breed.
