I always go out of my way to ensure that my rams don't want anything to do
with me. I do not abuse them!!!! However, when they are very young I start
flipping them on there back. It is unnatural and they hate it. I am a large
fellow and even when they get to be near a hundred lbs I am capable of
man-handling them. This serves to have them stay away from me and the other
humans allowed in their pens ( my wife and grandsons). When I have to catch
them, they are harder to capture but it is the price I feel I must pay for
having them stay away. PS: This fear does not seem to be passed on to the
ewes. I still can walk out and have them come right up to me while the ram
and whatever weithers are here, head for the other end of the pen.

If you always do what you have always done;
You will always get what you have always got
