My experience in throwing a ram on his back is all in your technique. I'm
5'4" 120 lbs and can flip a yearling ram. You just need to time your
grabbing of the horns and twist quickly. Once you get them over it's easy
to keep them there as long as YOU want. I have a ram that's just coming
on one year and he will be getting flipped within the next couple of
day's. We've had so much rain I wanted to wait until I have dry ground
underneath me, I don't want to slip. I find it to be quite an
exhilarating experience after it's done and the respect I get is great.
It's amazing how this changes their attitude.
