Hello all,

I gathered a few ramlambs today to band for my next door neighbor. I
told him he could have some for his place but only wethers. We went to
band one and flipped it over. IT WAS A FEMALE! 3 months old with about 4
inch horns which is about average for my ramlambs at this age. I was
able to feel a couple of suspicious knots(balls) around the area where a
male's testicles would be, but they were under the skin. She had female
plumbing including 2 teats.
I have had females with small scurs, but that was after they were a year
or two old. But this female cannot be distinguished from the other
ramlambs without flipping her over.
Is this farily common? Don't remember anyone talking about it. Do you
think I should do anything about it? Does anyone know if she will be
like a "normal" female as she matures?
Thanks,
Chris B.
