James, you are correct that the list discussion went on for a long time 
concerning Barbado name changing.  The discussion ended because Carol asked 
us to end it. Perhaps it is time to bring it back up again.
I see that BBSAI members are elegible to "vote" on a name change? Is it too 
late for me to join the BBSAI so that I may vote, also?

If I remember correctly the subject that was addressed on the list
and then stopped was the pros and cons for changing the name of Barbado.
I do not remember anything about not discussing to making sure members on 
the list understand that there are 2 breeds.  If I am correct  everyone on 
the list has stopped talking about changing the name including myself.
