To All: I did not mean to restart any polled vs horned debate..... Thanks to
those that provided an answer to my question - it appears that polled rams
can be produced from horned stock (though they maybe hetero - no way to tell
without genetic study). FWIW, personally, I call/advertise my animals Horned
Barbados Blackbelly Sheep. They all appear exactly like the pics of BBB,
except that they are horned (or scurred), so I would suggest that there is
only one breed - kind of like registered Hereford cattle that come in horned
or polled versions. I also thought I remembered that most, if not all, sheep
originated from the wild Mouflan. So does anyone know how BBB were actually
created??? I digress.

The meat does not require hanging more than over night in a refrig. I would
suggest a real bone/meat saw to replace the hacksaw (doesn't seem like much
difference but you'll be surprised). They are so much easier to use simply
due to the design.

John
