We graze our sheep and horse on Max Q. It is an
endophyte-free tall fescue. We have been pleased
with it although it is expensive. Here in our area we
paid $80 a bag for seed. It's wonderful in that you
can just broadcast it and the majority comes up with
out the need to drill. We also scattered some Korean
Lespedeza. The sheep seem to relish this mix. The
lespedeza does well in the heat and the fescue does
better in the cool season although ours has continued
to grow (slower) this hot summer. Mona in Va.
