Hi Diana,
We got the Korean Lespedeza from Southern States
feed here in Va. The Max Q was scattered for us by a
friend with a tractor, I forgot where he picked it up but
you can get a list of suppliers from the internet. Just
type Max Q Tall Fescue in your search engine. The Max
Q you can either drill or broadcast. We broadcast ours.
It supposed to do better if you plant in the fall but a friend
of ours planted in the spring and got good results. It comes
up kind of spindly and starts to grow better the following spring.
It's a cool season that does well in the spring/fall. It stays
green all winter and has it's poorest growth during the hot
summer. The Korean Lespedeza we just threw around by
hand and it did amazingly well. That stuff must be super
hardy. It starts to grow rapidly when its hot, just when the
fescue slows down so that's nice. Good luck. Mona in Va
