I have always bred back to back with my sheep and goats.  With my experience
and my experience only I have found if you put the ram/buck in within two
weeks one would get the next cycle of heat.  I have found if I wait longer I
will miss some of the heat cycles.  Some have stated the ram/buck will fight
and kill the lamb/kid breeding back this quickly but so far I have never had
this experience.  I keep a ram/buck with my ewes/does all the time and have
not had any problems with back to back breeder and/or lambs/kids getting
injured from the ram/buck.
