I just recently purchased 3 Barbado ewes and 1 Barbado ram. The oldest of
the ewes is 2 years old, and I was told she is due to have her lamb(s)
around the first of Jan. The ram is 2 years old as well, and has been very
laidback. Acting more skittish than the ewes.
I have raised all kinds of animals, but only in small numbers. I have
read on several listings on the blackbelly digest, where you guys are
concerned about not looking the sheep in the eye. Why is that?
Also, how far apart do you put your rams from the ewes when they are
getting ready to lamb?
I can't figure out the eye thing. That is the one that really gets me.
