I'm so sorry Onalee. That is absolutely horrible.
Hugs to you {{{{{{{{{{{Onalee}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

As to vets, we are extremely lucky and have a great
vet here in central Arkansas. He is an everything
vet, except poultry. I have learned a lot from
hands-on help with my vet. Yes, I usually only call
him on an emergency basis for my livestock, but he
also sees my dogs, so we have a rapport. Perhaps you
can find a horse or cattle vet who is willing to learn
with you about sheep. My vet has no problem saying he
doesn't know something and is more than willing to go
to his textbooks. I hope you can find one soon. I
hate to hear that the vet couldn't help you. I'm so
sorry

Hugs and blessings,
Marion
