She needs a dose of the colustrum in the first 24 hours if you can possibly get it. If you can make the ewe nurse it for 3 days they will bond. They get to smelling like mama... I had one in a set of triplets this year that got lost from mama. I put him on a mama that just had one and later figured out that she only had one, not 2.... Oh well, it worked.... I kept them penned up for 4 days....
