Subject: usability for end users

I was intrigued over blackbox... but as a newbie/enduser, I
have no idea the usability of new window mangers.

I'm a Mac user, and I'm ready to move to OS-X on all my
studio machines except one... I wanted to run a UNIX based
OS other than X.

And I wanted to customize the GUI for in house
use(customized icons and themes). So I thought blackbox may
be the answer... but while at your site, like many other
projects of this kind... I don't seem to find answers for
new end users, unless it's not intended for us yet.

Are there apps (other than browsers and chat apps) that can
run under blackbox? Like openoffice or a drawing app besides
gimp? Is there a possibility to get OS-X apps to run on
blackbox, I'm thinking of Photoshop, Flash, GoLive, or Indesign?

I like the open source movement and wish I could get more
into it. Any answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks. B
