Well, I ignored the invalid variable 'nodist_pkgconfig_DATA' and went back to the rpm version of pkgconfig which tunred out to be current. blackbox configured and built ok.
I seem to remember something about xfs or other font support not being present and that's the most noticeable difference. My .xsession-errors records: Cannot connect to window manager Cannot connect to window manager with no attribution of the connector. What are the cvs commands to acquire the updated bbkeys? I tried things that looked like the blackbox commands, but I get: cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any) even when trying to log into blackboxwm. Is sourceforge tits up? Thanks for any clues.
