This morning, I logged on, Blackbox opened fine. Then I opened KMail, which
had been working fine. But today, it crashed. I tried again, it crashed again.

My ISP did not respond to a ping. Usually when it goes down, I have to reboot
my system. I did that, and now I only get a Gnome session.

I am running RedHat 7.1 on two PCs served by a box running RedHat 7.0. I use
the GDM. Even when I select "xsession" from the GDM dialogue, I get Gnome.
Our user directories are mounted from the server at login.

I checked my .Xclients, .Xclients-default, and the .Xclients file for the PC
I use. These files all looked okay to my untrained eye. (I've done a little
with them, changing xclient for this machine from ICE to BB, for instance.)

I hope someone will offer me some help. I really like Blackbox and dislike
what Gnome has become. It seems to me the key must be with the KMail crash.
KMail is working fine in Gnome now.

Thank you,

Gino
