It may not have been the fault of the author, since by default, the
autostools do not support KDE, Qt, or many other non-GNU
libraries/software. (Why else does half the ports tree require 'gmake'
because of broken Makefiles?) This leads to kluges, like kdevelop's perl
script to add the needed code to detect Qt.
