If you have a Time Machine backup, restore from the time before you
started haivng trouble, and see if that helps.

Failing that, make sure you deleted ~/Library/Application Support/
Quicksilver. In your post you said you deleted /Library/Application
Support/Quicksilver. ~ is the short form for your home folder. All
Quicksilver's settings, plugins, etc. are stored ~/Library/Application
Support/Quicksilver. There is nothing else to reset.

You mentioned that you were playing around with a new tablet. Do you
have Mouse Triggers or the Abracadabra plugins installed? Maybe there
is an incompatibility with the drivers for the tablet.
