Okay, I guess I've always known that hanging around on B54 would mean that 
eventually new features would start not working for me. 

I gave B58 a go & sure enough it works perfectly but I use a load of triggers 
involving proxy objects & can't imagine life without them. It's the only thing 
really keeping me on B54 although I also find on B58 the shelf/clipboard 
doesn't appear when I mouse over the edge of the screen they're hidden behind & 
I use that feature a lot. And the occasional lagginess in B58 is a bit annoying 
when used to B54 but I guess I'd get used to that.
