Hi, there's been a ticket filed regarding the problems with the mail plugin. It's been around since snow leopard & is one of the reasons I'm sticking with B54.
It's issue number 7 here: https://github.com/tiennou/blacktree-alchemy/issues You can pop over & vote it up so it gets dealt with sooner. I'm not certain but I believe it only affects some people.
