Check the size of these:

~/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver/
~/Library/Caches/com.blacktree.Quicksilver/
~/Library/Caches/Quicksilver/

Sometimes large caches, shelves, databases, etc can cause hangs.
My total for the above ~60 mb.

You only have 4 plugins? QS comes with about 12. Did you disable the
others?
