The double-negatives make your question where I don't understand what you're asking. The XFce package was just updated to a newer version just a couple of days ago. I don't know a thing about it. Lots of other folks say it builds clean, so I can't say if Samba is required or not. There's been some discussions recently about XFce, you may want to search the archives, especially for a couple of posts where someone outlined the steps required to build the new version. Of course, it shouldn't be required as, like I said, the package was just updated a few days ago, so the book's instructions should build. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 17:25:00 up 19 days, 3:29, 5 users, load average: 0.04, 0.03, 0.00 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
