The few times I needed the autoreconf command, it didn't work out
properly since the internal files were not compatible with the latest
autotool versions.

Sorry I didn't mean to send a private mail. For some reason, gmail
sometimes replies to the sender sometimes to the list. Will have to
track the mystery someday. Till then I will remember to use the Reply
All option.
