Richard already committed the fix to Firefox using syntax as you show. We don't use --enable-extensions=all because 1) the Moz build instructions say not to and 2) this enables the typeaheadfix extension which breaks Firefox's search capability and 3) there is another extension we shouldn't use however I've forgotten what it was. I'll see if I can find my notes from Firefox/T-bird builds, but don't count on it.
