Just so folks can make an informed decision: 1. Bc will use Readline or Libedit 2. They both provide the same functionality 3. Readline is installed during LFS 4. Readline is maintained, Libedit is not 5. Libedit will overwrite some of Readline, rendering parts of LFS (I forget exactly what) inoperable. It's for all these reasons I suggested removing (hiding!) the libedit dependency. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 17:44:01 up 2 days, 23:00, 5 users, load average: 1.45, 0.50, 0.18 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
