Yep. Same here. Though I wonder how you have got past Test 27. On my
system, when Test 27 fails, the testit.sh script bails out and refuses
to process further tests.

We might get away with a sed:

sed -i -e "/*origOptString ==/c 0)" popt.c

The result is not very pretty, but it works.

I agree, I will put that in.

If you could integrate this into the book, I'd appreciate it.
Also, please change the SBU time from 0.29 to 0.3.

BTW, I found that rpm-4.4.6 has an updated popt-1.10.6 inside it
though the above fix is not in that version.
