It will be soon. I will be attempting to contact the individual BLFS
Editors to see what they would like to contribute in the next 5 weeks.
Their replies (and don't wait for me to contact you if you read this),
should be posted here so that the community can see what is slated for
completion, and what is not. This way, suggestions and contributions
from non-Editor community members won't conflict with previously
stated goals from others. As always, check out the Trac Bug database
to see what is already in queue and who may be working on it:

Just because an Editor flagged himself as the owner of a bug, don't
let that stop you from contacting him and telling him you'd like to
take in on yourself. At this stage of the BLFS life cycle, I can't
imagine any reasonable request and/or contribution being turned down.
We need all the help we can get. :-)

What is this "suggestions and contributions" mentioned above?

Anything submitted to this mailing list will be considered. Text mods,
technical changes, complete package updates to the Book's XML, etc.,
will be considered (and probably used) for inclusion in the book. Now
is your chance to contribute stuff that matters. Your contribution to
the book will be annotated in the Credits and it's very likely you
will be recruited to continue your efforts with write privileges to
the SVN repository.

Planned release of BLFS 6.2 will be the end of October. And if one
were to want to 'name' the release, well, "Halloween Documents" (or
anything related to 'Halloween') is already spoken for! :-)

Thank goodness for Dan. He just makes things so easy, 'cause all
you have to do is quote him on pretty well any subject, and you're
almost guaranteed to pass along the right stuff.

With Bruce's consent, guidance and counsel, this release of BLFS will
continue the grand tradition of (B)LFS excellence!
