Why? There's very little information on the page. It's basically:
perl Makefile.PL
make
make install

Personally, if I need a perl module for something I never check the
book for it. I go to Cpan, search for the needed module and then
install it with the above commands.
And that, in a nutshell, is what I think should be on the perl modules
page.
