I've just uploaded details of what I've built with make-4.0 on my current system.
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/~ken/make-4.0-testing/ files - items-in-first-build.txt : everything I've built make-4.0-build-test.txt : summary of what was in BLFS, showing which packages I actually built with the correct versions, and by extension what is still to test. Summary: apart from qemu, which is being fixed upstream, make-4.0 gave no build problems. I still need to do a second build, primarily for gnome and the parts of xorg I usually don't bother to test. I intend to build current versions when I start that. See the above information page
