Thank you very much for your message, DJ. Sorry for the delay. Sometimes I have not a decision clear in my mind and delay things. This was a work by six hands. From your patch, modified by Bruce, I got the commands for the cacerts, discussed a issue, with a long text, and did a small modification in the patch, introducing env LC_ALL=C. After your request, I got the commands and wrote a small part for configuration, so the cacerts could be updated/installed by han. Exchanged some posts with Bruce, who at some point decided it was good for the book and committed. The patch is very good, and without it, a solution for the language problem would have been very difficult, if not impossible, at least for me. I do not mind keeping the patch there and bumping the version, at each update of OJDK/IcedTea, actually would like to keep ith there, as it installs the cacerts and is a great source of information by itself.
