I have installed LWP::Protocol::https, using cpan -i, then libwww-perl-6.05 got installed:
{{{ $ xzgrep libwww /home/fernando/Downloads/blfs/LWP-Protocol-2014.01.20-11h36m23s.log.xz Running make for G/GA/GAAS/libwww-perl-6.05.tar.gz http://linorg.usp.br/CPAN/authors/id/G/GA/GAAS/libwww-perl-6.05.tar.gz Checksum for /root/.cpan/sources/authors/id/G/GA/GAAS/libwww-perl-6.05.tar.gz ok CPAN.pm: Building G/GA/GAAS/libwww-perl-6.05.tar.gz GAAS/libwww-perl-6.05.tar.gz GAAS/libwww-perl-6.05.tar.gz GAAS/libwww-perl-6.05.tar.gz }}} All other dependencies of libwww-perl-6.05 had been installed before. But it is a dependency of libwww-perl-6.05, if "you want the LWP installation to support the HTTPS protocol", so, I assumed, after it was installed, I could then install libwww-perl-6.05 with HTTPS support. In order words, it seems it was the other way round. I don't know if I misunderstood the instructions, if something needs to be fixed, in summary how to handle this. I would much appreciate if someone would explain it to me, please. With libwww-perl-6.05 installed that way, all wget-1.15 tests passed. -- []s, Fernando -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
