Well, I couldn't find any difference, when applying them to Qt4. Not
sure about qt5. But if I am wrong, will be willing to uncomment for both.
I will need to rebuild to check. I'll let you know in the morning.
I'm not sure why you removed the reference to vlc as an example of a
program that looks for -qt{4,5} suffixes in /usr/bin. In fact I'm
seeing that in phonon now (its a cmake issue) and am trying to track
down the details so I can understand it better.
I did it for for qt5, because it is not mentioned as VLC dependence.
Please, confirm and I will include it there, and will also try to build
it with Qt5. While I wait your reply, I will try it now.
OK, I see. We can use phonon. There will be two versions of that --
one for qt4 and another for qt5. The links will be different.
Funny.
Just confirmed that VLC uses both version of Qt. But only Qt4 seems to
be used for the GUI. Qt5 is for plugins. Weird.
Thus, will include Qt5 in VLC page.
