BTW, this is just some random testing system with 7.9-rc2 - I'm
fairly sure that I used a *current* binary back in February (to
check it would install ok), and I possibly ran the binary updater
too.  On my machine with the source install, I have (in texlive)

\def\texinfoversion{2015-05-06.11}

If your texlive is also from binary and you get anywhere, let me know
of the new commands (if they do indeed need to be changed), or else
if I need to build the package before trying to build the docs, and I
can see if the docs build on my tex from source system - that will
have been from last May's source.
