As with many fonts, there are multiple versions. I've just
downloaded from that link, 7.9 MB : it includes source (.eot) and
WOFF{/OTF,TTF} fonts as well as regular OTF and TTF.
It also has a package.json file with "version": "2.30.1".
For using it, google is perhaps easier -
https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Source+Code+Pro?selection.family=Source+Code+Pro
although that only has ttf fonts and no version information. It is
bigger than what I had downloaded in the past, so perhaps some of
the missing glyphs have been added (but I'm in no hurry to test that
possibility).
