Hmm, any idea on what the criteria for promoting releases of gtk+, glib, atk and pango to ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v2.8/ are? That's the only place I regularly check for new releases of said packages...maybe I need to change that, but at the very least the various LATEST-* files there are nothing less than misleading!
