I still cannot boot though.
Update right now to 2.6.15 or 2.6.16.
That worked a treat, using 2.6.16.15 right now. But, there
is something missing still.
I've got a /dev/bugreport for you.

I am now also missing cpu info in my sysfs tree. I needed that
previously for cpufreq, which read the file:
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
I no longer have anything inside /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0.
Is this an obvious change in sysfs from .14 to .16? I did ofcourse
include the governors in my kernel.
The Via cpufreq support ( I have a Via cpu) turned out to be a little
dodgy (as in usually refusing to throttle cpu frequencies), so I am not
really missing this feature. But it would like to have the option
nonetheless, if it is something I can fix.
Otherwise, still learning a lot :-)
Warren
