Hi.
Now that everybody is talking about XGL, I was thinking that it need compiz,
which only works with gnome... or not? I'm a kde user, and I don't plan to
build gnome only to try this. And what's more, I wouldn't use gnome, so I
just wouldn't use XGL. But I've read other things that made me think that
it's possible to use kde with XGL. For example, Mandriva has just released
his new distro with XGL, and AFAIK they ship kde as default desktop. So...
has anybody tried this? Anybody using nvidia?? At least qt4+kde4 will mean an
improvement, but I live the today.
