I think I found something. It may have to do with Gcc 4.2. All I found is
on this page. Unfortunatly, it's in a language I cannot translate, polish
I think.

I downloaded the last version of Openssl (0.9.8g), and I found this in
the CHANGES file :

Changes between 0.9.8e and 0.9.8f  [11 Oct 2007]

*) Changes to avoid need for function casts in OpenSSL: some compilers
   (gcc 4.2 and later) reject their use.

I'm going to try to compile this package, to see if it solves the
problem. Maybe it's time to upgrade :-)
