 Probably because tony is not using UTF-8.  I think he indicated he
was not using LFS - like others, I found BLFS because of problems
with my host distro (in my case, that would be in about 2001) so I'm
reluctant to require that people here always use LFS.  Probably he's
using iso-8859-1 (latin1) although all sane distros have moved to
UTF-8 - even Linus has stopped moaning about UTF-8 in kernel git
commits!

 BUT, if people aren't using LFS they need to understand that what
works for us will not always work for them.  I have no comments on
the actual error because I find cmake offensive and I will avoid it
unless I have to use it for a dependency :)
