A quick experiment shows that I get a lot of those (for various hex values and modes) if I start gimp in a term. Normally I start it from a menu so I don't see them - *many* gtk applications can be very noisy when started from a terminal. I suspect this is probably because we've done the minimum necessary to use current babl and gegl with gimp-2.8. It's only a warning, I would ignore it unless you have problems in gegl (although the gegl operations in 2.8 are hard to recommend and have always been very slow). That suspicion is confirmed by https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/1576977 but I haven't seen the other problems in that bug. ĸen -- `I shall take my mountains', said Lu-Tze. `The climate will be good for them.' -- Small Gods -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
