But it seems those changes are not kept after logout. > Thanks - that was the secret command I was missing ;) I've got two desktops, which is adequate for testing, and now that I've opened something on the second desktop I've got simulations of both in the panel and I can click on those (perhaps I could have clicked on the blank space i f I'd known where to click).
