Hmm,

I don't know if I can help but I will try.  I have a sysv 9.0 system
with pulseaudio 13.0.  IIRC I upgraded it when upgrading firefox or
thunderbird.   I haven't had a problem with pulseaudio or any other
application making my logfiles huge.  I will test out playing audio
from firefox to see what I get.  You have any requests for testing?
