I tried playing audio files from firefox to test out my system. No excessive logging here. I think it is difficult to compare with your situation given that you are using 9.1 and I am not. None the less, my kernel is 5.2.8, glibc-2.30, alsa-1.2.1, pulseaudio-13.0 and firefox 68.5.0esr. Any chance another app other than firefox will cause the pulseaudio behavior? I'm thinking vlc or something like it. Chris -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
